Otsuka Museum of Art Overview
The Otsuka Museum of Art is a "ceramic board masterpiece museum" established by the Otsuka Group to commemorate their 75th anniversary. It contains the largest permanent exhibition space in Japan (29,412 square meters).

From ancient frescos carefully selected by a 6-person panel to modern masterpieces from 26 countries and over 190 art museums around the world, within the museum are more than 1,000 recreations of original pieces, created using the special technology of Otsuka Ohmi Ceramics Co., Ltd. Unlike with art books and textbooks, you can experience the true artistic value of the original works, all the while in an art museum in Japan.

Moreover, while the original works are subject to fading and deterioration due to recent pollution, earthquakes and fires, our ceramic reproductions retain their color and form for more than 2,000 years, making a significant contribution to the recording and preservation of cultural properties.

The museum undertook groundbreaking projects, including the restoration of El Greco's altarpiece screen, which had been scattered during the war, as well as the previously unseen "Guernica." When Picasso's son, along with museum directors and staff from various countries, visited Japan to inspect over 1,000 items, they offered great praise and endorsements for the museum and its works.

Both technically and conceptually, the Otsuka Museum of Art can be regarded as a pioneering and truly unique art museum.
